The UFC have officially announced two welterweight bouts or should I say two knock out of the night fights
Mike “Quick” Swick takes on Ben “Killa B” Saunders – both men come off quick wins in December, Swick comes off a 33 second win over Jonathan Goulet and Ben Saunders comes off his 1minute 49 second win over Brandon Wolff.
“The Irish Hand Grenade” Marcus Davis takes Dan “The Outlaw” Hardy, The British Hardy goes into this fight off his 69 second win over Rory Markham while Marcus Davis has many ultra quick KO’s in the passed.
Two other bouts rumoured for UFC 99 are lightweight bouts between -
British fighter dropping down weight class Paul Kelly Vs Roli Delgado who beat John Polakowski by submission at Mir Vs Noguera.
Dale Hartt who record in UFC is 1 win and 1 lose Vs Dennis Siver who record is 2 wins and 3 loses in UFC.
Two releases from the UFC are Light heavyweight Mike Patt, who lost his 2 fights in UFC, against Tim Boetsch and last outing to Brandon Vera @ UFC 96 and young Irish Welterweight Thomas Egan.
Rumoured bout for UFC 101 – Kendall Grove vs Wilson Gouveia. Joe Silva looks to have another put together another good fight together, Grove coming off a big come back win at UFC 96 and Gouveia being broken down by Nate Marquardt again at UFC 96.
UFC 100 billed has been billed as the biggest and best event yet has released 3 official fights –
Welterweight title fight – Georges St-Pierre Vs Thiago Alves
Middleweight fight – Michael Bisping Vs Dan Henderson
Welterweight fight – Matt Grice Vs Shannon Gugerty
Anthony Johnson is looking for an opponent since John Howard pulled out, Johnson known for his explosive power and power punching, looks to keep his raise to fame going. Not too many oppenents will spring forward for this fight.
