My favourite new web stat site statcounter have released their latest mobile browser figures.
It is interesting to see that the iphone worldwide has exploded and taken over from other favourite Opera which had the market until the Apple release. The stats also show how the Ipod Touch browser is also 4th most popular browser worldwide. So Apple have the market covered with 38% market share.
Nokia comes in a respectable 3rd with 18%.
Surprisingly Blackberry only has 5.8% market share, with all the business users on blackberries you would imagine a greater market share?
Could be the browser is not great or the majority still do not offer WiFi or 3g connections.
Sony comes in with 3.4% – I think that is very good and will dip as the mobile phones improve and greater technology.
