Today saw the UFC confirm many bouts and events.
UFC 98 – Mir Lesnar 2
Frank Mir is give his title shot against current champion Brock Lesnar. The event will take place May 23rd at the MGM Grand Garden.
Both fighters know alot about each other since their last fight back at UFC 81 Breaking Point. Something suggests to me that Brock Lesnar will be less reckless and dominate Mir again.
UFC 99 – Franklin Vs Silva
Cologne, Germany hosts its first UFC event with light heavyweight (formally annouced as catch weight fight) battle, ex middleweight title holder Rich Franklin takes on Brazlian power puncher Wanderlai Silva. The event due to take place June 13th. With both fighters losing their previous fights it will be interesting to see who comes out on top. If Franklin loses we may see him drop weight to go down to middleweight and if Silva loses he may need to find himself another organisation to fight at.

Junior Dos Santos suggests he expects to battle heavyweight contender Cheick Kongo at his next UFC event, with his first two fights both ending early by KO’s. This fight would be a banger.
